Yasemi means "jasmine" in Greek — the fragrant flower that fills the air on warm Mediterranean evenings. It's the scent of outdoor dinners that stretch past midnight, of laughter and shared plates and one more glass of wine. After years of traveling to Athens and Mykonos, owners Manish and Rina Mallick fell in love with Mediterranean cuisine — the freshness, the simplicity, the way every meal becomes a celebration.
Yasemi is their love letter to that experience. A place where the food is vibrant, the wine flows freely, and you're always welcome to stay a little longer.
Meet the Chef
Chicago-based Greek chef George Zervakis leads our kitchen, bringing authentic Athens training and a deep respect for Mediterranean tradition. His approach: start with the best ingredients, keep preparations simple, and let the flavors speak for themselves. No tricks, no gimmicks — just food that tastes like the islands.
